Wait, what about rust?Updated a year ago

With raw steel, surface rust is always a possibility. For our hairpin legs we use cold-rolled, American milled, recycled steel. We ship our raw products with a rust-resistant coating to keep them looking good for you in transit. Once you receive the hairpin legs, shelf brackets, or other raw steel metal table legs, we recommend removing the coating with a degreaser and then applying a clear sealant or furniture paste wax to keep them looking good. Raw steel items are not intended for outdoor uses. For outdoor usage, the best bet would be to select one of our powder coated finishes. Even with a powder coated finish, depending on usage/climate, etc. any sort of steel can rust over time.
